Film Synopsis
This teen comedy (a cross between ‘Juno’ and ‘Dazed and Confused’) is an affectionate look at today’s youth culture. It follows a group of friends through their last year of college, and their last year together before they split up to head off for different universities or work placements. As the start of their lives looms over them they realise how little they know about real life and decide to distract themselves by planning the ultimate sending off holiday. With this, the realisation of money, and not having any, dawns on them and they begin to try and raise funds for the holiday. After many tried and failed attempts, main character Jay (Josh Webbe), decides to raise the money with his favourite past-time, weed. He’s used to selling a couple of ounces here and there but in order to afford this week of drug-and-drink-filled debauchery they seek out to sell on a much bigger scale. With the help of love interest Amy (Rachel Bonnar) and best friends Becky (Stephanie Ball), Jodie (Freya Mapsten) and Chris (Dan Bardey) we follow the group venture into waters they’re not entirely equipped for.
